Scope and content

The poster demonstrates the national population policy, requirements, and an objective. It explains the benefits of late marriage and late childbirth, with an image of a male doctor, a young woman holding a book with "English" on its cover, and another young woman in sportswear holding a baseball in her hand. Moreover, under the image of the Tian'anmen square, there is a red book entitled PRC Marriage Law. Next to the book, there is the legal marriage age for both men and women. To support the point that the legal marriage age is still not the best marriage age, there is a chart that compares the legal marriage age and the actual average marriage age in Switzerland, the Soviet Union, Japan, and the US.
