The poster contains two sections on the principles of birth control, namely the principle of pregnancy and the principle of contraception. In the section on the principle of pregnancy, there are diagrams of male and female reproductive organs and the fertilisation process. In the section on the principle of contraception, there are three phrases, i.e., inhibition of production, avoidance of encounter, and prevention of implantation. This section also includes a drawing of a woman in a white coat lecturing on sex education to a group of students.
