This reads very well and maintains the interest, but we feel that, compared with much of your work with which we are familiar, it is quiet and restrained. If you feel that you could give us greater strength in the treatment of the narrative without altering your scheme, you might consider the point. Probably when Dick returns you will have opportunities for strength that do not exist at present.'
