Dark blue cotton trousers. They have a fly front opening and black plastic button at the waistband. The waist band has four belt loops. There are two narrow pleats in the front - one below each of the two front belt loops - two at the front and two at the back. A paper ticket with '96 97' printed on it is attached to the right side of the waistband. Each side seam has a pocket opening. The back right has a large patch pocket that closes with one button.

Jacket made of orange high visibility polyester with grey reflective strips around the arms, chest and shoulders. It fastens centre front with a black zip, wide storm flap and six black press studs with 'YOKO' engraved into them. It has a hood which folds into the collar and is lined in black polyester with diamond quilting. The interlining is polyester wadding. The cuffs and bottom hem are elasticated.

Cap with peak made of six panels of red, yellow, orange, blue and green camouflage patterned cotton. Prominent seams run across the crown.

General Post Office
Dungarees made from an orange cotton [denim] fabric. The dungarees have a bib front, held up by adjustable straps over each shoulder which cross at the back and clip to black buttons on the front of the bib. There are matching black buttons at waist at each side seam which unbutton, enabling the dungarees to be taken on and off more easily. Just in front of these opening on each side sits an angled pocket.

Dark blue cotton jacket with stand-up lapel collar. Five silver buttons sewn in the centre. Two flap pockets appliques on the chest. One button sewn on the each cuff. Red and black EXCELSIOR label sewn inside the hem.
French workers jacket in faded blue with three patch pockets and repaired with extensive areas of hand stitched mending and darning. It fastens with five black plastic buttons with a single button on each cuff. It has an internal right pocket with top stitching. It has been repaired all over, predominantly at places of wear; the collar, cuffs, right pocket, and internal breast pocket. The hand stitching has been carried out in varying shades of blue and features a whip stitch along the centre front and cuffs with a darning technique used elsewhere.

Hard wearing, ankle high, work boots made from a brown leather. The boots have leather laces which thread through the seven pairs of eyelets. There is a steel toe cap and across each toe there is decorative perforations similar to those found on brogues. The boots have a chunky sole which is made from rubber.
