Scope and content
Dungarees made from an orange cotton [denim] fabric. The dungarees have a bib front, held up by adjustable straps over each shoulder which cross at the back and clip to black buttons on the front of the bib. There are matching black buttons at waist at each side seam which unbutton, enabling the dungarees to be taken on and off more easily. Just in front of these opening on each side sits an angled pocket.

Note
The Sanforized process was patented in the 1930s by Sanford Cluett. The process involves stretching the fabric widthwise and then using steam and heat to set the shape of the fabric. This prevents shrinkage when then garment is washed.
