1. Photograph Pa Tobleson as well as a chef and a waitress working on the motor bus used to prepare and serve food to the officials, competitors and pressmen during the London to Brighton Walking Race on 3 April 1920. An advertisement for 'Iron Jelloids' (a tonic) is attached to the step of the Motor Bus. W M Tombleson, AKA Pa Tombleson, father of H G Tombleson (pictured on page 10 of the album). Pa also appears on pages 1, 37, 42, 45 and 56 of the album and is often mentioned in the Polytechnic Magazine, in one instance as a 'limit man.’ 190x140mm.
