Also includes agreement with C McKenna, Polytechnic Secretary, for regular booking of the Reading room for practices every second Monday of the month and the Portland Hall for dances; Goodwill Account 1954; Correspondence between the Men's and the Ladies' OMA Sections , 9 Mar 1955 re problems with Men's OMA over financing and joint organisation of the Olde Tyme Dancing Section. Brewer also complains that dancers chosen to perform in the Polytechnic Parade are not members of the Institute, but 'merely wives of members'; Two letters from Fred Lunn to Marion [Taylor?], Apr and Jun 1966 re lack of a dancing committee; Card listing dances and MC George Hooper, 8 Apr 1967; Minutes of Joint Sub-Committee meetings 17 May 1950-15 Feb 1955 and 1 May 1961. Includes accounts for the 1950s and 1960s. The meeting on 1 May 1961 records that it had not been the practice to keep minutes for the past few years and so there are none to read; Signed note attesting to closure of the Section bank account, 23 Oct 1970.
