The poster is the first page of series 1 of the Population and Family Planning Comic (6 in total). It contains the preface that introduces the purpose of this comic series (to raise the public's awareness of the importance of implementing the family planning policy) and four different comic stories. The titles of the stories are "I am the only flower in the family" (created by Miu Yintang), "Many benefits of having only one child" (compiled by Yu Shunsheng), "Family planning - the basic state policy", and "being the leader of implementing the family planning" (created by Gao Xiang). This comic series is published by Beijing Children's Art Association, Beijing Family Planning Publicity and Education Centre, and Beijing Family Planning Association.

本海报是《人口与计划生育系列漫画》的系列一（计划生育政策）的第一页。本系列包括一则介绍这套漫画出版的目的（唤醒广大群众实行计划生育的意识）以及四则漫画。四则漫画的标题分别是：《我是全家一枝花》（缪印堂 作）、《一孩家庭好处多》（喻顺生 编绘）、《计划生育——基本国策》以及《计划生育的带头人》（高翔 作）。本系列漫画由北京市少儿美协、北京市计生宣教中心以及北京市计生协负责出版。
