Scope and content

The poster shows the Beijing population density map. Next to the map, there is a chart to further demonstrate the population density in each district and county in Beijing. The map also contains pie charts to compare the levels of education in each district and county in Beijing, ranging from illiterate children below 12 years old to university graduates or in universities. In addition, there is a bar graph that compares natural population growth rates in each district and country in the years 1964, 1982, and 1987. The poster is compiled by the Beijing Family Planning Committee and the Department of Geography at Beijing Normal University.
