              Long lightweight hooded coat with fishtail back made of layers of patchworked organza in grey, green, blue, khaki, brown and blue. The patchwork panels have been overstitched with quilting in vertical lines. It has a wide stripe of bright blue down the centre front and centre back which are sewn down with ten vertical channels. Through the channels are threaded cream cotton cords with black metal bound ends which extend beyond the ends of the panels, creating a fringe effect. The front has two of the same stripes angled away from the centre front waist, also threaded with cotton cords. The hood has five short tabs of bright blue around the outside which are threaded with two long cream cotton cords that hang down on each side at the front. The hood has a cream cotton drawcord around the edge. There is a stripe of bright blue across the top of the shoulder and down the outside edge of each sleeve.

              Black hooded coat made from high-tenacity nylon, fastening at the centre front with a black Riri zip and Velcro. The lower front panels, centre back (extending over the hood), and the bottom back of the coat feature herringbone-shaped padding. The hood includes lower flaps that can close over the face, secured with Velcro, and the upper part of the hood opening is adjustable with a drawstring (missing). There are two large curved-top pockets on each breast, fastened with black Riri zips, and two additional pockets at the hips beneath the padded areas. The coat's bottom is designed to fasten between the legs with webbing and a buckle, while two short black elastic pieces are located at the bottom of each side seam. A Velcro-tabbed pocket on the left upper sleeve is designed to hold a face mask (missing).

              This parka, made from ventile cotton, fastens with a zip and features a double button stand. Four black horn buttons are on the right side, with an additional button on the centre-left, allowing the wearer to layer the button stands for added protection. It has a six-panel snorkel hood, shaped with four pleats at the peak, supported by wire, and lined with sheepskin. The hood is trimmed with genuine fur and equipped with cotton drawcords tied in a hangman knot, secured with Union Knopf ‘pig’s nose’ wooden locks and discs. The parka includes a draw-waist with cotton canvas weave draw tape running through a sewn-in channel for waist adjustment. A throat tab provides extra wind chill protection. Elasticated cuffs and hem ensure a snug fit. The front features two large storm envelope pockets, secured with real black horn buttons for additional secure storage. The interior is lined with khaki nylon, padded with feather down, and includes two contrasting beige jetted zipped breast pockets.

              Military jacket in a khaki green cotton mix fabric. The jacket is front fastening via five buttons and has a drawstring waist. There is a turn down collar with two cloth badges decorated with a crown and eagle. There is a large pocket with a button down flap on each side of the waist at the front.               Green, parka style, military jacket with a drawstring hood. Jacket is front fastening via a zip with a stud fastening storm flap. Also included on this jacket are two slash pockets at the waist; a zip utility pocket on the left sleeve; and one inner pocket. Epaulettes are found at each shoulder. There is an inner waist drawstring and a drawstring at the hem and ribbed cuffs on both sleeves.               Dark olive green cotton and wool detachable hood with fur trim to be worn with Parka Shell 2020.74.1. The outer hood is made of dark olive green cotton with a wired brim edge. It has a double layered neck flap and drawstring around the inner brim with leather stoppers and an elastic loop across the top of the hood. There are four button holes around the bottom edge of the neck flap to fasten to the parka shell and two large plastic buttons on the right side of the flap.

              The inner edge of the brim is trimmed with brown animal fur. The inside of the hood is made of dark olive green wool or wool and cotton mix. The manufacturers label is stamped in orange ink to the inside of the outer neck flap (half of it has worn away).

              Long sleeved parka liner made of dark olive green lightweight synthetic fabric and layer of cream looped wool pile to be worn with Parka Shell 2020.74.1. It is trimmed in dark olive green cotton. Around the side edges and along the top are fourteen buttonholes to fasten to buttons inside a parka shell. There are two tabs with buttonholes at the cuff of each sleeve. The inside elbow of both sleeves have an oval section made of the green lightweight fabric.               Dark olive green cotton parka with hood - to be worn with liner 2020.74.2 and fur trimmed hood 2020.74.3. The parka fastens centre front with a heavy silver coloured metal zip, with 'CONMAR' etched into the zip head, and seven metal press studs with 'UNITED CARR' etched into the back. It has two large angled flapped pockets on each side of the centre opening at waist level and a U.S. ARMY label in yellow on black sewn on to the left chest. There are drawstrings at the waist, around the hood, and around the bottom hem. The hood drawstrings have leather stoppers.

              The back of the parka is longer than the front and curves to a point with a small V creating the 'fishtail'. The inside has green plastic buttons around the sides, neck, hood and cuffs to button on the hood liner and body liner. The sleeve cuffs fasten with an elasticated pull tab and large olive green plastic button.

              Handwritten in dark pen inside the back of the neck is 1-HQ209. Manufacturers stamp in black on the inside of the hood at the back of the neck.
