Scope and content
Workwear trousers in a pale grey cotton drill fabric. Trousers are front fastening via four black, plastic buttons; three on a concealed button placket and an additional button at the waist. A further six buttons are found on the waistband at regular intervals to enable braces to be worn. Angled pockets are found on either side of the waist and there is a single patch pocket at the back of the trousers on the right side. Topstitching is used to add detailing around the pockets and waistband. The trousers have been extensively worn and have been darned in places. Stitching at the hem of each trouser leg indicates that the trousers have been turned up at some point. The trousers are unlined.
