            Rayon blend white jersey vest. It has been constructed as a tubular knit on a rotary frame so there are no side seams. The arm holes have been cut to sit very narrowly on the chest and the neck and armholes have been finished with a thick coverstitch with a much lighter rolled hem finishing on the hem. Paper shop price label attached.

            British Army No.1 Dress Jacket

            Single breasted, black woollen jacket with a stand up collar. The jacket is front fastening via five domed, brass buttons with regimental insignia and the collar via a double hook and eye fastening. Two matching brass buttons are found on each cuff as well as a brass button on each of the shoulder straps. These straps also display three metal rank badges. On the front of the jacket are four large patch pockets, two on the chest and two at the waist. The two chest pockets have flaps and a brass button closure. A medal ribbon is located on the left side of the chest, above the patch pocket. Brass insignia are attached to the outside of the collar on either side of the opening. There is a 16cm vent at each of the side seams. To the reverse, there is a centre seam that runs the length of the reverse and then a seam on either side of this which curves out from the shoulder seam and runs vertically to the hem. The inside of the jacket is lined with a black satin fabric. The inside of the collar has five brass studs to enable a removable, stiff white collar to be attached [2022.36.20.2]. 无标题的

            Sportswear trousers in cream cotton. Trousers are front fastening with a button fly. This comprises of four corozo nut buttons on a central, concealed placket that widens near the waistband; two buttons sitting off centre at the top of the placket, fastening to an internal flap; and a further two buttons stitched to the inside of the waistband on the left which fasten through button holes on the waistband to the right. The waistband has belt loops; adjustable buckles at either side of the waist; and internal buttons front and back to which braces can be attached. Angled, inseam pockets sit at either side of the waist and at the back are two welted pockets with a button fastening. The trouser legs have permanent turn ups, 1.5 inches deep. The trousers have been extensively altered having been made larger with alterations down the back seam and at the fly. 无标题的

            Black coated waterproof cycling trousers. The centre front ties closed with a length of cotton tape, and the fly closes with a single button through to the outside in the centre. There is a second layer of fabric stitched to strengthen the crotch area which extends to the knee on centre front. Made in Scotland. 无标题的

            Black coated waterproof cycling cape with brush painted sealed seams. The cape is shaped at the shoulders, with the front body larger than the back so the seam sits underneath when laid flat. The centre front closes with two silver Newey Brothers press studs, and secures with a strap and buckle. The collar is lined with velvet. The front has a cotton tie on each side, attached to a small circle, and sewn to the front in a circle of stitching. There is a third tie stitched to the centre back which ties between the legs to the front to secure the cape. The hem is curved and finished with a double turn and top stitch. Made in Scotland 无标题的

            Brown leather belt with a cross body, supporting strap that passes over the right shoulder. The belt is adjustable, with a large, brass buckle with two prongs that fastens the belt around the waist. A belt loop and stud then holds the strap in place. There is a brass hook and three 'D Rings' on the belt which can be used for attaching equipment [such as 2022.36.12]. A thinner strap, adjustable by a buckle, is attached to the top of the belt and is worn diagonally across the body. 无标题的

            Flying helmet made from a soft, brown, chrome leather. Helmet is shaped around the face, sitting just above the eyebrows and covers the ears. There is a chin strap with a metal buckle fastening and a three-popper flap over each ear to allow the wearing of communications equipment. At the reverse of the helmet there is a small strap and popper to hold equipment in place. The inside of the helmet is lined in a dark cream / light brown chamois fabric. 无标题的

            Flying helmet made from a cream cotton / canvas fabric. Helmet is shaped around the face and has a chin strap with a buckle fastening. A further two buckles can be found on the crown of the head and there is a flap with a three popper fastening over each ear to allow communications equipment to be worn. There is padding underneath these flaps and the helmet is still fitted with the original gosport tubes receiver [communications equipment ear pieces] at the ears [the tubes are missing]. The inside of the helmet has a cotton lining with the original printed label still visible [although faded]. 无标题的

            Grey Burton double breasted belted coat with six plastic buttons and two front welt pockets that allow access to both internal pocket and wearer's own pockets. There is a two piece collar with zig zag stitch detailing and the whole body has top stitching. The shoulders are heavily padded and the two piece sleeves have a seam running down the centre. There is a single back vent with closure button. It is fully lined with quilted top half and loose lining at the hem. There is loose canvas along the button hole.
