            Brown double breasted suit jacket with six buttons. There is a pocket with flap on each side and a welt pocket on the left chest. The internal facing is separated in two halves, likely as a production fabric saving measure. Jacket has a peak lapel with a button hole on both sides. Jacket has three buttons on each sleeve. No back vents. Made in the United Kingdom. Designer unknown

            Brown tailored waistcoat with six buttons on centre front. Each side has two pockets, the top pocket being smaller than the lower. There are two lines of stitching on the right hand side remaining from a removed label. The back has a plain brown lining, and the inside has a white lining with three black pinstripes repeated. There is no back sinch. each side seam ends with a small vent. Made in UK Designer unknown

            High waisted tailored trousers with double pleats. Fly fastens with five hidden buttons, and centre front closes with a hidden button and hook and bar. Both fly facings are seamed to make complete piece. Each side seam has a hidden pocket. There are four buttons on the front and two on the back for braces buttoning. The back right has a single welt pocket and button. The left side has a strip of stitching remaining from a label. Trousers have a wide turn up hem. The inside seams are raw.             Red white tie tailcoat belonging to the 3rd (The King's Own) Hussars cavalry regiment. It features striking 3rd Hussars hunt brass buttons by Pitt & Co. Ltd with two positioned on either side of the front jacket and four smaller buttons on the working cuffs. It has two buttons at the rear above the long vent that also features a pocket within the left tail. The lapels are curved with the silk twill lining filling in the shape of the lapel, finished with three decorative tacks on each side. It has rows of stitching on the chest lining to create a more structured silhouette. The back is constructed of six shaped panels to give it a narrow, more fitted cut. The coat is hand stitched and fully lined with the tails and lapels in red silk and a beige coloured silk used for the body and sleeve lining. It has an internal pocket on the left hand side.

            Black wool dinner or evening jacket with grosgrain shawl collar (part of a two piece suit). Made to measure. It has no back vent and closes centre front with one black button. Lined in black twill rayon, sleeves lined in cream rayon. Hand and machine stitched. Evidence of alteration with inserts to the lining at the shoulders. Two horizontal jetted pockets at the front waist and one angled welted pocket at the left chest. Inside chest pocket in the lining. Hepworths

            Black wool dress suit or evening wear trousers - part of a suit. They have a narrow line of black rayon braid down the outside of each leg. They fasten centre front with a button fly and have buttons at the waistband for braces. The inside waistband is lined in cream rayon and the pocket bags are cream cotton. There is evidence of wear and staining to the pocket bags and around the bottom of the cuffs inside the hem. The trousers have been altered by being let out at the centre back seam with inserts to the waistband lining. Hepworths

            Tailored jacket made of dark and light grey checked wool mix cloth. The pattern is an overcheck with a stylised dogtooth underneath. It has a turn down collar and lapel and crosses over at the front in double breasted style, fastening with three black plastic buttons - two buttons visible, one on the inside. It has two large patch pockets at the hips and has a centre back vent. It is lined in light blue viscose with two inside chest pockets and one small pocket to the inside left waist.
