            Bespoke wool tailored flared trousers (part of a two piece suit). Front pockets run along waistband seam, with hand finished edge and a bar tack at each end. The fly front is finished with a hand stitch, and centre front closes with a hook and bar. Back of trouser has a single dart and no pockets. Waistband has seven belt loops. Trouser hem is finished with a length of tape, turned up with a herringbone stitch. With original hanger 2019.63.16. Designed and made in England. 无标题的

            Bespoke tailored wool jacket (part of a two piece suit) with large single breasted lapels. The lapels are wide and curve in towards the button closure. The collar has a notched point with a single button hole on the left side.

            The centre front closes with a single button with hand stitched button hole. The jacket overall shape is slim, narrow at the shoulders and fitted on the waist. The back of the jacket has a yoke seam and a seam at the waist, both finished with a hand pick stitch. The section between is formed of three vertical pleats, a variation of an American sport jacket. Below the waist seam, the back seam becomes a double vent, secured at the top with a row of hand stitching.

            The front body of the jacket has a patch pocket with rounded corners and a box pleat. The edges of the pocket are all hand pick stitched. The sleeve has a single functioning button. All edges are secured with hand stitching. With original hanger 2019.63.16. Designed and made in England.

            Black wool dress suit or evening wear trousers - part of a suit. They have a narrow line of black rayon braid down the outside of each leg. They fasten centre front with a button fly and have buttons at the waistband for braces. The inside waistband is lined in cream rayon and the pocket bags are cream cotton. There is evidence of wear and staining to the pocket bags and around the bottom of the cuffs inside the hem. The trousers have been altered by being let out at the centre back seam with inserts to the waistband lining. 无标题的

            High waisted tailored trousers with double pleats. Fly fastens with five hidden buttons, and centre front closes with a hidden button and hook and bar. Both fly facings are seamed to make complete piece. Each side seam has a hidden pocket. There are four buttons on the front and two on the back for braces buttoning. The back right has a single welt pocket and button. The left side has a strip of stitching remaining from a label. Trousers have a wide turn up hem. The inside seams are raw. There are two lines of stitching on the right hand side remaining from a removed label. The back has a plain brown lining, and the inside has a white lining with three black pinstripes repeated.             Black velvet waistcoat with pink acetate back. It has four pockets, two angled welt breast pockets and two flap pockets. It fastens with five gilt orb shank buttons with a sixth decorative button. The front is lined in pale pink acetate which also constructs the cinched back. Part of a selection of suits that Vivienne Westwood made for iconic hairstylist Sam McKnight from women's fabrics selected by McKnight, who worked with Westwood in the early 1990s before the launch of Westwood's MAN collections in 1996.
