Focuses on the opening of the 'Polytechnic Extension' [Little Titchfield Street]. Images show the outside of the completed building in 1929. Other reports focuses on the Queens visit to the building. Images show the Queen greeting the Lord of Marylebone and the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress. The unveiling of a memorial portrait dedicated to Mrs Quintin Hogg is also shown in photographs and press clippings. The opening of a new library in the Polytechnic at Regent Street is reported as well as the Queen's visit to the new Kitchens in the Polytechnic Extension.
