Mr J. Bruce Walker is reported to have delivered a lecture on the 'economic position of Canada. Also, William W. Hoy delivered a lecture on the 'economic position of South Africa'. Mr H.A.F Lindsay, the Indian Trade Commissioner also delivered a lecture on the subject of Indian Trade. Photographs show Miss K Becksteede who was a winner of the hair waving trials at the Regent Street Polytechnic in 1927. Press cuttings also debate the idea that the youths of the time favour dancing over education.
