Scope and content

Notes, possibly made by Henry H Trivick. Spencer was a student at the School of Art 1953-1954.

The notes are on Henry H Trivick headed paper, but with the name crossed out and 'Sir Stanley Spencer CBERA' written over the address. Notes concern Spencer's time at the Poly at the invitation of Trivick, and lithographs he produced during that time and their subsequent production after Spencer's death. Contains an anecdote about Spencer's lithographic method. There is also a proof of a print showing a lithography studio by an unidentified artist.
