Inscribed on the front 'The chalet [illegible] facing. We are having a grand time, enjoying it thoroughly. Just off to the [illegible] (Lucerne). Tomorrow we go up Pilatus - I am sure this place would just suit you. We have splendid [illegible] but it has been very cold here until now. I think you ?said you would like [illegible...]. Love [illegible]'. Addressed to Miss Nellie Valentine, Somerton, Somerset. Postmarked 1 Jun 1902, Luzern. Swiss stamp [coming loose].
