Newspaper cutting with headline: "Olympic Games at Stockholm", featuring image of the English team: winners of the 400 metres Relay Race, beating Sweden and Germany, Jacobs, McIntosh, Applegarth and D'Arcy; 172x198mm. Newspaper cutting with image of Alex Ahlgren and the Sporting Life Trophy which was made by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co. [The Trophy was presented to winners of the Polytechnic Marathon]. Note in hand dating the cutting as 31 May 1913; 250x122mm.
