The event was as part of the Kinnaird & Marathon Meeting held at White City Stadium on 29th May 1937. 2. Photograph of Bert Norris with familiy and friends in an outdoor setting after a Marathon victory. the writing to the side states 'standing back: Bert Harding, Alf Peck, Squire Yarrow, middle: friend of Mrs. Norris, Bert Norris, Mrs. Norris, Mrs. Adams sr, front: Trixie Adams, Mr. Adams Snr. Photo by Frank Adams the day after one of Bert Norris' 3 poly wins (35.36.37).' 3-7. The five small images show Arthur Furze in various locations during the Berlin Olympic summer games in 1936. Furze passed away in December 1982 and the images were donated by his sister, Miss Margaret Furze, 'in remembrance of her late brother.' Furze was a prominant athlete, who was Empire and AAA bronze medalist at 6 miles in 1934. 3. Photograph showing one of the entrances to the Olympic area during the the Berlin summer games in 1936. 4.
