High waisted trousers in a charcoal coloured, worsted wool fabric. Trousers have a button fly comprising of four bakelite buttons on a concealed button placket. For added stability, there is an additional button on the inside of the waistband that fastens to a button hole on a concealed tab at the top of the fly. On the inside of the waistband their are six additional buttons that enable braces to be worn. On the outside of the waist are six drop loops, hanging 1cm below the waistband and through which a belt can be threaded. The legs of the trousers are very wide from the crotch to the knee and then taper from the knee to the ankle. At the hem of each leg sits 2.5 inch turn ups. There is a crease front and back of each trouser leg, twin pleats at the front, and twin back darts which run from the waistband to the back pockets. The trousers have two, button fastened, slit pockets at the back and vertical inseam pockets at each side of the waist. The waistband of the trousers is lined in a cream satin fabric and each pocket is lined with a cream cotton fabric. '207 / V / WEL' is written in black ink on the waistband and on the lining of the right waist pocket. Admiration Clothes

Straight-leg jeans made from dark blue denim, featuring contrasting cream and brown topstitching. The jeans fasten at the front with a zip fly leading to a silver-coloured shank button at the waist. There are three front pockets: one curved on each side of the fly, with a smaller coin pocket inside the right pocket. At the back, there are two patch pockets, all reinforced with brass rivets. Fencing jacket in grey cotton with black moleskin cuffs and collar. The jacket fastens by ten brass buttons that run from the hips to the collar over to the left side. The top four buttons run from the collar to the shoulder seam; the fifth button sits on the chest; and the remaining five buttons run down the body of the jacket, close to the left side seam. The jacket is double lined at the front and halfway down the right arm. A seams runs the length of the back of the jacket and there is a donkey tail fastening, Unknown

Waterproof, yellow smock in a coated cotton fabric [oilskin]. Smock has a hood and long sleeves with two eyelets under each arm for ventilation. Pair of boys football trainers in black leather. Trainers lace up with black laces which thread through five pairs of eyelet holes and have a leather tongue. Three white leather bands with serrated edges sit across the inner and outer sides of the upper of each trainer [Adidas logo stripes] and a white half-moon at each heel. Pair of boy's lace-up, black leather, ankle boots. Boots are lined with white cotton and have leather insoles. The boots have rounded toes with a line of broguing across the toe caps. The boots have black, cord laces which thread through seven pairs of eyelet holes and tab loops of twilled fabric at the back of the ankle. The soles and heels of the boots are also made from leather and are nailed to the boot. Unknown

Long sleeved, cotton dress / evening shirt. Pulling on over the head, it has a neckband collar to which a detachable collar could be fitted via worked stud holes on neck band [two at front and one stud hole in at back of neck]. A further two studs would have fastened through the buttonholes on the placket beneath the collar [vertical buttonhole on the left, horizontal on the right]. The stiffened cuffs of the sleeves would also have fastened via studs or cufflinks. The shirt has stiffened, piqued, rounded, bib front and two pleats that lead from this bib to the hem. The shirt is long in length so it remains securely tucked in. The hemline is longer at the back than at the front and there are splits at either side seam. H.H. Wagstaff

Round necked, cotton, tunic shirt in a grey and pink pencil line stripe on a white background. The shirt has a half placket or 'tunic' front with three buttons. It has a neckband collar to which a detachable collar could be fitted via worked stud holes on neck band [two at front and one stud hole in pocket at back of neck]. Each sleeve has a French cuff with four worked link holes enabling cufflinks to be worn when the sleeve is doubled back. Shirt is long in length so that is stays tucked in securely.
