Pith helmet covered in sequins with a brass coloured metal top. The white sequins are on a mesh base and have been hand painted/sprayed with a yellow and grey camouflage style pattern. Part of outfit for Look 2 of James's graduate collection.

The helmet was purchased by James and used as a base. He then applied seam seal tape to the seams on the hat on the outer, finished rim with reflective camo cotton (same as smock) and threaded with chain and long extra long handmade leather tassels in green, khaki and lime. The crown of the hat was finished with an extra large brass door knob.

White PVC Bike Helmet with Castrol England transfer on front. Helmet has a peak on front, and curved seamlines across top scull. Helmet is padded with corkboard with a layer of foam. It secures with a strap across two side and one back flap. The side flaps are secured to the back flap with a buckle on each side. Helmet has adustable pull chord around top of sweatband. THe inner of the hat has two crossing lengths of cotton tape for suspension from the top of the skull

Helmet or hood made of silver coloured heat reflective material. It has a rectangular shaped gold coloured reflective curved visor window in the front. The hood has a peaked top with a hanging loop in dark orange material and panels that come over the chest and upper back. The back panel has two long tabs with elasticated sections which attach with metal press studs to the front panel, they thread under the arms to secure the hood on the shoulders.

The inside of the hood has a black plastic structure to sit on the head and lined in red fabric.

Dark blue helmet made of a ABS thermoplastic shell, expanded polystyrene (EPS) lining, with a clear polycarbonate visor which can be pivoted up or down. Each side has metal gauze audio apertures at ear level and it has black padding around the forehead (inside foam disintegrating), cheeks and neck. There is an adjustable chin strap with black plastic chin cup. The right side has a sticker with the model details, there are yellow police stickers on the front and back. Flying helmet made from a soft, brown, chrome leather. Helmet is shaped around the face, sitting just above the eyebrows and covers the ears. There is a chin strap with a metal buckle fastening and a three-popper flap over each ear to allow the wearing of communications equipment. Flying helmet made from a cream cotton / canvas fabric. Helmet is shaped around the face and has a chin strap with a buckle fastening. A further two buckles can be found on the crown of the head and there is a flap with a three popper fastening over each ear to allow communications equipment to be worn. There is padding underneath these flaps and the helmet is still fitted with the original gosport tubes receiver [communications equipment ear pieces] at the ears [the tubes are missing]. At the reverse of the helmet there is a v shaped split, about 4cm in depth and above this there is a small strap and popper to hold equipment in place.
