Printed facsimile letter addressed from 'The Polytechnic' and to 'my dear - -'. The letter discusses the size of Poly membership and what it means to be a Poly boy, the idea of the Poly as a second home and his hopes for the Poly, the trouble the English have in expressing their feelings, New Year's Resolutions, and invites the recipient to a Service. The letter also entions an enclosed card 'bearing a word of Godspeed for the coming year' [missing].
