This poster refers to a event from the story 'Generals of the Yang family', which recounts the loyalty of the Yang family during the early period of the Song dynasty. The mostly fictional narrative has been told in stories, novels, and theatre since the eleventh century. The poster shows 100 year old grandmother, She Saihua, of recently deceased Song general Yang Zongbao resisting an invasion. It was turned into a Peking Opera in 1960.
