            Black trousers in a lightweight wool fabric. Trousers are front fastening via a zip fly and a single grey / black plastic button at the waist. The waistband has eight belt loops and a tab with a button fastening at each side seam. At each hip are slanted, welt pockets, with two patch pockets found at the reverse of the trousers. Yellow, reflective, polyeurethane strips run down the length of the side seams on each trouser leg. The trousers are unlined. Comme des Garçons Homme Plus

            Flying helmet made from a soft, brown, chrome leather. Helmet is shaped around the face, sitting just above the eyebrows and covers the ears. There is a chin strap with a metal buckle fastening and a three-popper flap over each ear to allow the wearing of communications equipment. At the reverse of the helmet there is a small strap and popper to hold equipment in place. The inside of the helmet is lined in a dark cream / light brown chamois fabric. D. Lewis Ltd

            Flying helmet made from a cream cotton / canvas fabric. Helmet is shaped around the face and has a chin strap with a buckle fastening. A further two buckles can be found on the crown of the head and there is a flap with a three popper fastening over each ear to allow communications equipment to be worn. There is padding underneath these flaps and the helmet is still fitted with the original gosport tubes receiver [communications equipment ear pieces] at the ears [the tubes are missing].             Knights Templar Frock Coat

            Black wool facecloth double breasted frock coat with stand collar. It features small goldwork embroidered crosses with red wool interiors on each collar and two larger crosses of the same design on each cuff. These crosses are the badges for a Sir Knight rank. It has two rows of seven wool shank buttons down the front with two rows of matching button holes - damage to the wool covering of the buttons, especially on the right side. Three smaller wool shank buttons on each cuff with two buttons at the centre waist on the back above the tail pleats and two at the bottom of the pleats. It is lined in black cotton sateen. There is a vertical pocket in the left chest lining (with stitching evidence of a missing tailors label) and two pockets in the coat tails (lined in chintz cotton).

            Tunic top in a black wool fabric with a mandarin style collar. Although relatively lightweight for wool, the top could be worn as a jacket. Top has an asymmetrical fastening. The left side of the tunic has six fabric loops, through which the six, black, domed, plastic buttons on the right side can be fastened. Buttons run from shoulder level to the hem. The bottom five buttons sit approximately 5.5cm from the side seam. The top button is on the chest of the tunic, approximately half way between the shoulder seam and collar. The left side of the tunic curves between the top and second buttons, so that there is a cut out section at the right armpit. A seam runs the length of the back of the top. There is no back vent. The cuffs are plain with no buttons. The inside of the tunic is unlined. Yves Saint Laurent

            Dark orange three quarter length sleeve knitted jumper made of alpaca with a continuous black yarn as an undertone throughout the ribbed knit. It is knitted in 2*2 ribbed formation. When relaxed the knit gives the appearance of a 1*1 formation. Both the sleeve and body hem are left with a raw edge and the collar is finished with a 1*1 rib. Jil Sander

            V neck jumper made from a khaki green woollen fabric. Jumper has oval elbow patches and rectangular shoulder patches which are made from a khaki cotton drill fabric. There is a button stitched to a corner of each shoulder patch and there are openings at each shoulder [possibly to allow equipment to be attached]. The neckline and the cuffs are both ribbed.             Lightweight sweatshirt that pulls on the body over the head. The front of the sweater is in cream wool which is knitted in a cable knit pattern. The neckline is ribbed but rolls back on itself and so gives the impression of piping around the edge of the neck. The sleeves of the sweatshirt are made from a cotton jersey fabric with ribbed cuffs. The 6cm, ribbed hem of the sweatshirt is also made from the same orange, cotton, jersey fabric. The back of the sweatshirt uses the same cream wool as the front but does not uses a simple stocking stitch. Joseph Tricot

            Workwear trousers in a pale grey cotton drill fabric. Trousers are front fastening via four black, plastic buttons; three on a concealed button placket and an additional button at the waist. A further six buttons are found on the waistband at regular intervals to enable braces to be worn. Angled pockets are found on either side of the waist and there is a single patch pocket at the back of the trousers on the right side. Topstitching is used to add detailing around the pockets and waistband. The trousers have been extensively worn and have been darned in places. Stitching at the hem of each trouser leg indicates that the trousers have been turned up at some point. The trousers are unlined. Unknown

            Navy blue double breasted pea coat fastening with six buttons and three button holes. It is lined in black fake fur fabric. The shank buttons are gold coloured metal (brass?) with an anchor and rope design (the navy fouled anchor) embossed on them and 'WATERBURY CO.'S INC. CONN' on the reverse. It has two jetted angled insert pockets at the hips and a chain loop at the back of the neck. The sleeves are lined in black rayon satin. It has a makers label on the inside left.
