            Academic mortarboard made from a horizontal square board which is covered in felt and fixed upon a skull-cap which is also made from reinforced felt which is ridged. The skull-cap comes down to a point at the front and is trimmed with grosgrain ribbon. On top of the board there is a tassel in the centre which is held in place by a shank button, covered in black fabric. Bradbury and Venables

            Yellow and black (faded) long sleeved cotton sports shirt. The shirt is made in the 'quartered' style with the front and back of the shirt made of two quarters yellow and two quarters black. The right sleeve is black with a yellow cuff and the left sleeve is yellow with a black cuff. It has a turn down collar and short opening to the chest which fastens with two buttons.             Yellow leather duffle style coat with three wooden toggle and rope closures on centre front (bottom one damaged). The front of the coat has a padded patch pocket on each side with rounded corners. The seams attaching the sections of leather together to form the body of the coat are top stitched, set in at 4 mm. There is a two piece hood which closes at the centre front with a tab and snap fastener. The coat has a yoke seam on front and back. The inside of the coat is printed with an enlarged image of the C.P. Company British sailor logo in blue yellow and red. The lining is cotton with a polyester padding. Made in Italy. C.P. Company

            Black polyester and elastane head, face and neck covering balaclava with metal clip attachment. It has two sections over the head, the top part can be pulled down over the forehead. The section that comes up over the bottom half of the face has the Nike symbol printed in reflective material in the centre. The neck section is longer at the front and covers the chest.             Cream knitted jersey face mask with elasticated adjustment and detachable nose cover. The mask has two cut outs for the eyes and one for the nose. The edges of the mask and the cut outs are bound in white woven binding. There is a narrow section of Velcro over the nose and a button at the chin to attach the nose cover. Each nose cover is made of cream woven fabric, double layered in a square with one side folded and one side sewn down. They have a narrow strip of Velcro on the inside of two edges and a button hole at the opposite corner. Label in the back of the top of the mask. Designer unknown

            White or cream cotton hood with neck cover and perforated lower face cover. It is made four sections, the back piece is one section and there is one long seam down each side and over the top of the head. The front is in three sections with an opening across the front at eye level. The top front part has an elasticated channel to fit over the forehead. There is a shaped section of perforated cotton to cover the nose, chin and lower part of the face which has an elasticated channel across the top. Label in the inside back.
