'Confirming our telephone conversation of this afternoon, payment for an additional 500 words will be made to you to-morrow on each of No's. 2 and 3 of THE WIFE OF A HUNTED MAN; while No. 5 will be paid as 4,800 words, the lenght of MS before subbing.
And in future, of course, all instalments coming in at 5,000 words will be paid for that length.'
