A small rectangular pocket with a flap and metal twist fastening is on the right side of the pouch. Clips on the reverse of the pouch enable the pouch to be fastened to a belt or harness [like 2022.36.17].

Padded shoulder harness in a hard wearing green cotton fabric. Yoke has adjustable straps and buckles and is designed to distribute the weight of the equipment attached to it evenly across the shoulders and back of the wearer.

Brown leather belt with a cross body, supporting strap that passes over the right shoulder. The belt is adjustable, with a large, brass buckle with two prongs that fastens the belt around the waist. A belt loop and stud then holds the strap in place. There is a brass hook and three 'D Rings' on the belt which can be used for attaching equipment [such as 2022.36.12]. A thinner strap, adjustable by a buckle, is attached to the top of the belt and is worn diagonally across the body.

Black leather crocodile effect 'Congo' leather brief case or satchel. It has a handle at the top and fastens with two leather straps and buckles on each side of the front. It has a brass Cheney closure at centre front with three slots which locks with a key and two brass loops on the back to attach a long strap handle (missing). The interior has a divider and three sewn down narrow pen holder pockets.

Flying helmet made from a soft, brown, chrome leather. Helmet is shaped around the face, sitting just above the eyebrows and covers the ears. There is a chin strap with a metal buckle fastening and a three-popper flap over each ear to allow the wearing of communications equipment. At the reverse of the helmet there is a small strap and popper to hold equipment in place. The inside of the helmet is lined in a dark cream / light brown chamois fabric.

Flying helmet made from a cream cotton / canvas fabric. Helmet is shaped around the face and has a chin strap with a buckle fastening. A further two buckles can be found on the crown of the head and there is a flap with a three popper fastening over each ear to allow communications equipment to be worn. There is padding underneath these flaps and the helmet is still fitted with the original gosport tubes receiver [communications equipment ear pieces] at the ears [the tubes are missing]. The inside of the helmet has a cotton lining with the original printed label still visible [although faded].
