The brand was founded by Alfred Dunhill who inherited his father’s equestrian saddlery and harness making business on the Euston Road, London in 1893 at the age of 21. Updating the business, Dunhill developed a line of accessories for the motorcar called "Dunhill's Motorities. Today the brand specialises in ready-to-wear, custom and bespoke menswear, leather goods, and accessories.

Quilted, black leather jacket with a shawl collar [similar to a bomber jacket]. Jacket is front fastening via a zip. A vertical pocket sits either side of the front opening at waist level. These have zip closures. The quilting is emphasised by contrasting, white stitching. The jacket is unlined.
