      Note

Flame Retardant Overalls are a popular choice for welders/industrial workers who are regularly exposed to heat. The cotton is specially treated to provide protection.

      Note

This is one of three boiler suits that the donor would wear in rotation, replacing them yearly. He prefers to wear cotton boiler suits with a looser fit because he finds them more comfortable and can then wear them over layers when it’s cold. The flame retardant coating/impregnation of the suit means that there are specific requirements for cleaning – in the past he has sent his boiler suits out to be laundered because of the dirt and oil they get covered in. The holes in this suit are from sparks created when he is using a grinder.
