Scope and content

Cream silk jersey knitted vest with a round neck and short sleeves. It opens part way down the centre front with a placket lined in cream cotton and fastening with four mother of pearl shell buttons. The bottom hem and cuffs are finished with rib knit. The inside back of the neck has a lining of the same fabric which has been hand stitched down. It has a makers label in the back of the neck which has frayed - the only legible word is 'London'. Size 'W 42'. Large hole and run in the centre front and right side. Some yellowing.
