            Single breasted, velvet jacket with notched lapels. The jacket is multi coloured with a pattern comprising of black, brown, green, cream, blue and red rectangles and squares repeating in vertical stripes. Each element of the design is separated / bordered by a cream outline. Jacket fastens at the front via three tortoiseshell effect, plastic buttons. Three smaller, matching buttons are at each cuff. There is a small pocket at the chest on the left side. Two large patch pockets are found at either side of the waist. There are no darts. At the back there is no vent. On the inside, the jacket is lined in an olive green, satin fabric which has the words 'Franck Olivier Paris' embossed in a repeating, diagonal pattern.             Single breasted, needlecord jacket with notched lapels. The jacket has vertical stripes of varying widths in pale and dark pink, green, yellow and teal. Jacket fastens at the front via two burgundy plastic buttons in a wood effect. A smaller, matching button is at each cuff. There is no pocket at the chest. Two large patch pockets are found at either side of the waist. There are no darts. At the back there is a single, large vent. On the inside, the jacket is lined in a burgundy / purple, satin fabric.             High waist shorts in dark blue wool. Shorts fasten at the centre front fly with four plastic buttons on a concealed button placket. Four large loops can be found at the waist to enable a belt to be worn. Two pleats run down from the waist band at the front on either side of the fly. At the waist there are slanted pockets on either side. The shorts are unlined apart from a band of cream cotton to the inside waistband. The inside hem of each leg has probably been altered and has been stitched up by hand. Bukta

            Dark blue short sleeved shirt made of seersucker nylon. The seersucker weave is in a squared pattern and is semi-sheer. The shirt has a turn down collar and has two patch pockets on the chest, the bottom part of the patch meeting at a point in the centre. It fastens centre front with five white plastic buttons and buttonholes - the top button fastens under the right collar at the top with a loop. It has a wide facing down each side of the opening and the back has a shoulder yoke. The shirt is cut straight across the bottom. Size small. Elbeco

            Blue cotton twill General Post Office uniform jacket with red 'GPO' lettering embroidered on each collar. The jacket fastens centre front with five black plastic 'bullseye' removable buttons with wide stitched facings and has two large patch pockets at hip level on the front. It has two lengths of fabric stitched into the inside (seams visible from the outside) at a downward angle from each side of the front opening to the pockets - probably as strengthening for the pockets.

            The red lettering has been embroidered onto similar blue cotton as the main jacket and then the patches machine sewn onto the collar points. On the left chest are two stitched eyelet holes (for a badge). It has a hanging loop in the back of the neck. Run and fell double stitched seams, no back centre seam or vents. No labels - there are remnants of stitching on the inside where the labels would have been sewn.

            Long sleeved shirt made of acetate rayon printed with a dark grey blue ground and all over pattern of different shades of pink diamonds in clusters of four. It has a large pointed collar, a dress front button stand and fastens with seven white plastic buttons. The sleeve cuffs fasten with two white plastic buttons and each sleeve has a long vent that fasten with one white plastic button. Label in the back of the neck. Sportive Male by Paul

            Khaki wool long sleeved shirt with two patch pockets on the chest. The shirt fastens centre front with six plastic buttons and buttonholes. Each pocket has a flap with a button closure. The cuffs fasten with one button and the sleeves have a long vent opening which also fastens with a button. The upper shoulder of each arm has a rank badge of three chevron stripes in green embroidery over two crossed rifles on a light brown cotton ground. The collar is lined in pale green rayon and stamped in black ink 'CUNNINGHAM G B'. This is also stamped on the inside of the back yoke.

            Green wool serge jacket with detachable belt and removable metal collar studs with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) insignia embossed on them. It fastens centre front with four plastic buttons, the top three are embossed with the USMC insignia, the fourth at the waist is plain. It has four pleated patch pockets with flaps that fasten with a button plastic shank button embossed with the USMC insignia. The same buttons fasten the two shoulder epaulettes. On the shoulder of each sleeve is a sewn on rank badge of red wool with three green chevron stripes and two crossed rifles. The lower part of each sleeve has a year of service badge of two green diagonal stripes on red wool. It is half lined in green rayon and has a size label - 37R - in the back of the neck and manufacturers label on the inside of the inside breast pocket. The belt is stamped twice in black ink with 'CUNNINGHAM G B' and is missing the belt buckle. Worn with medal ribbons and green and red braid fourragère.
