            Khaki clip on tie made of rayon (?). The triangular knot of the tie is wrapped over a metal clasp with a hinge which clips over the top button of the shirt. The metal clasp and clip is rusting.

            Eleven medal ribbons ribbons wrapped over grey plastic which clip on to a grey plastic structure which attaches to the jacket with six metal studs. The ribbons include the Vietnam service medal, Vietnam campaign medal, United States Marine Corps achievement and commendation medal. The VCG is missing the palm.

            Grey wool trousers with removable leather buckle straps at the cuffs. They fasten with a button fly and have 10 grey plastic buttons on the waistband for braces. The waistband also has seven belt loops. The trousers have two angled pockets at the hips with flaps that button with a grey plastic shank button with the three crown emblem of Sweden. There is one large patch pocket with a flap on each thigh, and one jetteded pocket on the right back which closes with a button and loop. The cuffs are made of grey cotton canvas with a metal clip (to fasten to the boots) and a dark grey cotton gusset which can be tightened with the leather straps. The pockets are lined in dark grey cotton. The inside of the waistband is stamped in black ink with makers label of an oval and text (unreadable), '96' and '1960'.

            Green wool serge jacket with detachable belt and removable metal collar studs with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) insignia embossed on them. It fastens centre front with four plastic buttons, the top three are embossed with the USMC insignia, the fourth at the waist is plain. It has four pleated patch pockets with flaps that fasten with a button plastic shank button embossed with the USMC insignia. The same buttons fasten the two shoulder epaulettes. On the shoulder of each sleeve is a sewn on rank badge of red wool with three green chevron stripes and two crossed rifles. The lower part of each sleeve has a year of service badge of two green diagonal stripes on red wool. It is half lined in green rayon and has a size label - 37R - in the back of the neck and manufacturers label on the inside of the inside breast pocket. The belt is stamped twice in black ink with 'CUNNINGHAM G B' and is missing the belt buckle. Worn with medal ribbons and green and red braid fourragère.

            Khaki wool long sleeved shirt with two patch pockets on the chest. The shirt fastens centre front with six plastic buttons and buttonholes. Each pocket has a flap with a button closure. The cuffs fasten with one button and the sleeves have a long vent opening which also fastens with a button. The upper shoulder of each arm has a rank badge of three chevron stripes in green embroidery over two crossed rifles on a light brown cotton ground. The collar is lined in pale green rayon and stamped in black ink 'CUNNINGHAM G B'. This is also stamped on the inside of the back yoke.

            Long sleeve khaki General Post Office workwear jacket with notch lapel. The button stand consists of three black pin head shank buttons with metal plate on the underside of the button stand and key ring to interchange the button components. The front body has two straight pocket flaps top stitched with matching khaki thread. there two further rows of top stitching across the waist on the front body, but this does not follow through into the back of the garment. the lapel is also finished with a 5 mm top stitch which continues down to the hem of the jacket. The collar is finished with red cord, which is also used on the top sleeve of the jacket and top stitched in red. the under sleeve is secured used a felled seam and hemmed with a 15 mm unturned hem. the jacket is unlined, exposing the inner construction. but there is a jetted pocket stitched into the right hand facing side of the jacket lapel. The cross back of the jacket is lined and finished with a baby overlocking stitch. The internal pocketing is made from the same material as the outer body of the jacket. There are three machine stitched eyelets under each arm hole and two eyelets on the front left chest. General Post Office
