Manuscript indenture on paper, made between Oliver [Litchener] of 21 [Conewood] Street Highbury, [Type Founders] Engineer and Machinest, and Johann Birkinger of 7 Little Goodge Street, licensed victualler, and [Willibald] Birkinger, son of Johann, an infant of the age of sixteen years, for five years and 84 days to learn the trade of '[Type Founders] Engineer, at a price of £30. Signed and sealed by all three in the presence of Henry Cain.
