The hood has an elasticated draw cord with black plastic bobble ends. There is a Velcro tab in the back of the neck of the hood so it can be rolled and and fastened. There are two chest patch pockets that fasten with black zips. Over the left pocket on the chest is a badge with 'GREATER MANCHESTER POLICE' embroidered in light grey thread and the police badge in yellow, red, blue and light grey thread. There are two large patch pockets with side openings at the hips, two zip fastening pockets on the outer thighs, and two smaller zip fastening pockets at the outer ankles. The shoulders have epaulettes that fasten with Velcro. The leg cuffs are elasticated and fasten with adjustable tabs and press studs. There are metal zips down each calf with a gusset to allow the trouser leg to be narrowed. Each arm cuff is elasticated and has the same press stud fastening and zip and gusset as the legs.
