            United States Army jacket made of woodland print camouflage cotton and nylon mix ripstop fabric. Fastens down centre front with five green plastic buttons. Front has four patch pockets with flaps and cuffs fasten with green plastic buttons. Two holes in each collar point indicate where badge pins were put through. Sewn on oval badge on left shoulder with the image of a sword with wings and two snakes embroidered in black thread on an olive green ground. Size Small Short

            Cream cotton smock with hood. It has an opening at neck fastening with two cream buttons with three crowns in a triangle shape stamped in black ink onto the placket. The cuffs fasten with one button, and the hood has a drawstring with cream heavy cotton tapes. Two large pouched patch pockets on front below the waist with scalloped shaped flaps and fastening with three cream buttons. Attached to the bottom hem at back is a short tape with two button holes, there is one button sewn above the hem at the centre back and another at the centre of the hem on the inside of the front of the smock.

Two large lower pockets to front with large flap closure. Metal zipper front closure with exposed button fly. Detachable hood with a wired edge to the collar for shaping. Waist drawcord. Throat protection piece to the neck. Internal crutch strap fastens with buttons to the front.

            Red wool facecloth short jacket with green wool facecloth long shawl collar, epaulettes and pointed cuffs. It has two goldwork embroidered badges sewn on to the middle of each collar with the emblem of the Green Howards and '1875'. On the right sleeve just above the green cuff point is a circular goldwork embroidered badge of the Royal Coat of Arms. There are four silver coloured metal buttons embossed with the Green Howards emblem on the right side below the collar and four sham buttonholes on the left side. Each cuff has two of the same buttons. It is lined in red rayon with lines of quilting radiating around the armholes and covering the inside front panel. The sleeves are lined in cream rayon satin. There is a pocket on the inside left lining which contains the tailors label with client and date.

            Navy blue wool trousers with red wool facecloth stripes down each outside leg. High waist which extends above the waist at the back, with six buttons for braces. Button fly. Front of inner leg hem finished with a black leather strip. Waistband and fly lined in khaki cotton. Makers label sewn into the back rear waist, on either side handwritten in pen (faded) 'C24 0922' and 'GRAHAM'.

            Short black wool double breasted coat with turn down colllar and two pockets with flaps at the waist. There is a rectangular plastic badge on each collar with the British Rail double arrow logo in gold. The pocket flaps have buttonholes but the buttons are missing. It has a back vent and is lined in black nylon mesh fabric. It fastens at the front with eight plastic buttons and four buttonholes.
