Under the left, chest pocket there is a horizontal, pocket with a gold zip fastening. Underneath this, on either side of the opening, there are two larger, patch pockets with flaps, fastened by poppers, on either side of the opening. Between the pocket on the left and the side seam, there in a thinner flap, patch pocket with a popper fastening. The vest is lower at the back than at the front.
