Photographic postcard showing a group of seven boy scouts and their Scout master. The boys are holding a sign saying 'Forest Lake Wolf Patrol: all first class scouts'. Annotated on the front 'This is the best Patrol in the US but it is not the Scout Master who says so!' Address to JEK Studd Esq, Polytechnic, Regent St, London W, England' and postmarked Forest Lake Minn, 21 Aug 1917 with a two cent stamp. The message reads 'Dear Mr Studd, I'm sorry to trouble you, but they sent me a 'Poly Mag' for July instead of August! Hope all is well with you and that the new 'Poly' is a thing of beauty as well as a joy forever. All is well with us & our praise is to his Name & Glory. Yours in haste, GF [Gilruth Finley]
