Photographs of the Polytechnics athletics section of the parade, which included representatives of the Harriers, the Boxing Club, the Water Polo Team, and the Leaders of the Men's and Women's Gymnastics.
The photograph shows a group of girls in athletic costume marching past the King Lud public house [Ludgate Circus] with a group of men all dressed in white and wearing caps behind them. The crowd is just visible, with policemen at the front.
1 copy labelled on reverse 'The Lord Mayor's Show. Picture shows - The Athletic girl of the Regent Street Polytechnic'. The other annotated 'Ladies of the Polytechnic Women's Gymnasium'.
