Photograph showing photographs, flags and objects on display in Fyvie Hall. The Exhibition was in aid of the Polytechnic War Comforts Fund.
The Polytechnic Magazine August 1940 p91 describes how the exhibition included 'a large number of models of ships of our Early Navy, our Modern Navy, and the Merchant Service, some fine paintings and many excellent photographs [...] kindly loaned by private owners and firms. Among other exhibits is the battle-scarred flag of H.M.S. Exeter, very kindly lent by the Mayoress of Exeter, to whom the flag was presented by Captain Bell.'
