Postcard published by Platino Photo, reference 5887G. The postcard shows the main entrance to the Polytechnic Institution, 309 Regent Street with the entrance to the cinema just visible. There are horse-drawn carriges in front of the building.
Stamped and postmarked 17 November 1904. Manuscript: 'November: 16th /04.' On verso: 'Dear Queenie, 1 thought you might like this P.C. The Glass place at the top is the Art School. I arrived quite safely, the fog in town was really much worse than the day before. They did not mind me staying a bit. Love to all from your loving cousin, Millie'. Addressed to Miss Bowater, 'Fritton Lodge', Howard Road, South Norwood, SE.
