Programme for the 52nd series, 26th year of the Polytechnic Popular Entertainments, priced threepence. Chairman is Sir Kynaston Studd, President of the Polytechnic. In addition to details of the organ recital and performance by the Polytechnic Choral and Orchestral Society, conducted by Arthur Fagge, the programme includes advertisements for Polytechnic membership, the Distress and Christmas Fund, Poly Tours and a Men's Meeting at the Poly.
Performers include Ida Cooper, Ivy Philips, John Collett and Roy Henderson.
The programme also includes a brief tribute to Miss Florence Birchenough, keen Poly swimmer and gymnast who has become the British record holder for shot put, javelin throw and discus; member of every Women's International Team that has represented Britain up to the present time, voted Captain of the British team in the last International Contest and winner of minor competitions abroad in Brussels, Monte Carlo and Sweden.
