Colour drawing of an inn, located next to and partially over a river. The exterior of the building is ornately decorated in wood. Polytechnic Series published by The Photochrom Co. Ltd., London & Tunbridge Wells. Used.
Annotated on verso: 'Polytechnic Chalets, Seeburg, Lucerne. July 8th/10. Dear Bertie, Arrived here at 9 on Wednesday evening. We had to stay in Paris, just lost the Swiss express. It poured with rain the whole of Wednesday & yesterday. This morning at present it is lovely. We are just going for the day on the Lake with a party. With love. A. C.' Addressed to: Mr H J Craggs, 27 Ailsa Avenue, St. Margarets', Twickenham, England. Postmarked 8 July 1910.
