Hand-coloured postcard. Image shows a group of four (two men and two women) on the lake shore. One woman is seated, one standing, both carrying parasols. Both men are standing, one leaning against a tree. There is a low raised wall with planted stone urns between the group and the lake, and a grassed area to the other.

Addressed to Master Wm. Dodds, The Castle, Felton RSO [Railway SubOffice], England and annotated: 'This is in front of our Bedroom. This is a delightful place & we are so thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Be good till we get back & take care of yourselves. Kiss Baby & Ev for me. Your own Daddy T D. Posted on top of Mount Rigi in delightful weather.' Postmarked 20/08/1906.
