1. Just after the start of a two mile invitation race during the Sward and Norrkoping Trophies meeting, held at Chiswick on the 12th May 1956. M.R. Schofield is leading, ahead of Ken Norris (the eventual winner) and Graham Ward.

2. A 100 yards final during a Kinnaird Trophy meeting, held at Chiswick on the 16th June 1956. B. Shenton won the race ahead of D.H. Segal.
