Goodwillie (Oxford University AC) at the 220 yards heat during the AAA Championships held at Stamford Bridge on the 3rd Jul 1931. 2. Photograph of the Polytechnic Marathon race from Windsor Castle to Stamford Bridge on the 28th May 1932. The distance. between Windsor Castle and Stamford Bridge, is 26 miles, including two laps of the Stamford Bridge track. The Marathon was won for the seventh time by Sam Ferris. Also identified in the image is D. F. Gardner, sporting the number '5', G. Rumbold, number '9', G. E. Hubert, number '19' and A. Murrell, number '21'
