1. Lawrie Hill of the the Polytechnic Harriers leading.

2. The start of a Surrey County Senior Cross-Country Championships at Coulsdon on the 6th January 1951. The race was won by C.W. Walker of the Belgrave Harriers with a time of 47 minutes and 17 seconds. Athletics Weekly covered the event in the 13th January 1951 edition of their magazine, pages 16 and 20. 3. Harriers members relaxing in the water.
