Scope and content
The Gayler September 3, 1932 'Misconceptions' Poem - being a deliberate and malicious libel in verse (alleged) and prose (which is another libel) on stout hearts of The Club who did battle with the elements and took the wallop in large basins and yet with great courage and fortitude did fight to the bitter end and so brought The Poly once more to the fore, while others in striving to do like honour did take the wallop in larger basins and did fall by the wayside.
