Video cassette containing footage of the following Polytechnic Cycling Club events: Club ride to Matching Green Essex, to watch the cycle races on the old disused airfield course; Tom Winter's children Clive and Oliver playing with friends and Jimmy Dicks; Meeting for a weekend ride to the Green Man at Bradwell-on-Sea in Essex - Sid Smith, Fred Leper, Koe Blake, Tom Winter, Reg Davis, Percy Marks, Charlie Harvey, Sid Tringham, Joe Blak mending a puncture with Fred Leper - next day Frank Magatti riding his bike outside the Green Man - Ted Gibson inside a tree trunk - taking refreshment on the way home, while Sid Tringham pumps up his tyre; Dennis Seacombe being recalled back to the Army in 1950 being Z reservist (Korean War) - going to REME camp near Bicester to say goodbye to Fred Leper; Inter Club 50 mile time trial with the Midland Cycling and Athletic Club - Des Gambles, Dennis Wells, Les Wilmot and Jack Simpson (MC&AC) with Dave Ricketts - time keepers Frank Finnemore and Joe Blake; Cycle racing in Finsbury Park - George Bruer on his bike; Lord Hailsham at Herne Hill Cycle Track for 'Poly' meeting - Dave Ricketts with silver trophy which he had won; John Kelly in the North Road Cycling Club's 24 hour time trial - Dennis Seacombe, Fred Leper, Frank Finnemore, repairing Kelly's bike and puncture by the roadside - Fre and Bish Turtlebury skylarking while waiting to hand up a 'feed' to John; Club 25 mile time trail on the Amersham Wendover course, 27th April 1952 - Riders Seacombe and Mark Wells, Emmerson known as Emmy and Pritchard known as Shamas - time keepers Joe Blakes, Frank Finnemore with stop watch - Tom Winter pushes off Emmy and Shamas; 1952 Christmas Lunch ride - Magatti, Winter, Ted Gibson and Roy Drake; Loading Tom Winter's van for the 'Poly CC Children's Christmas Party' - unloading the van outside 309 Regent Street - organiser Tom Winter; Phil Grummit and Clive Winter handing up drinks to riders in a Club Open Event - possibly the 100 mile or the 12 hour event first held in 919, known as the 'Gayler 12' - sometime early in 1953/54.
