It fastens centre front with two silver-coloured buttons with the British Rail logo and has two similar buttons on the pocket flaps. On each collar is a plastic rectangular badge with the British Rail logo in silver. A sewn on light blue badge with 'Guard' in silver thread is on the left chest and badges with two bars in silver thread are on each cuff. Lined in light blue polyester.
